Office for PLL Overview

Welcome to the Office for PLL online help! Office for PLL (Permits, Licensing, and Land) is a GIS-centric community development and management application. It enables agencies to track permits, plan and develop activities, engineering processes, business or regulatory licenses, and code enforcement cases from initiation to closure. The built-in work flow engine efficiently tracks all applicable tasks, from initial application or citizen/customer call, through departmental plan reviews, fee collection, permit issuance, inspections, board and commission meetings, abatement, court hearings, license renewals, and more. Users can customize the system to reflect their organization’s needs.

Office for PLL streamlines the community development, planning, and regulation processes of local governments by automatically notifying users, departments, and divisions when their task in the workflow becomes available.

The system is also fully audited, tracking the user, date, time, and any changes made to a permit or case. The audit log is fully searchable and results can be exported to Microsoft1 Excel. Additionally, the audit log can be configured to audit only selected groups or specific items, as defined by the system administrator, according to the organization’s regulations.

Office for PLL uses the same database and user interface as Office for AMS, allowing security roles to be set up across both systems. Office for PLL is fully integrated with Office for AMS, allowing permit, license, and land data to be viewed in the same application as work orders, service requests, and GIS asset data.

Developed in Microsoft .NET and Esri’s2 leading ArcGIS Server technologies, the GIS-centric server- and browser-based design helps your entire organization achieve higher levels of operational efficiency. Also, Office for PLL is a fully integrated extension of Esri's GIS mapping software, requiring no linking, special interface, or risky synchronization.
